Developing The Children’s Rights-Based Classroom Scale

The aim of the present study was to develop Children’s Rights-Based Classroom Scale. participants were comprised 451 classroom teachers working at 12 primary schools in Gaziantep province selected via cluster sampling method. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory (CFA) conducted for attaining construct validity scale. scale structure consisting four factors 21 items obtained as a result EFA. It identified that these explain 76.217 % total variance. Of CFA fit indices, GFI(.90), AGFI(.87), SRMR(.060) NFI(.94) acceptable levels, X2/sd (CMIN/DF) (1.354), CFI(.98), IFI(.98), RMSEA(.042), perfect levels. Cronbach Alpha value calculated .89. values sub-factors .943, .905, .917 .934 protection-support-communication, participation, environmental arrangements teaching-learning process respectively. can be stated based on findings valid reliable has been developed enables multi-dimensional assessment children’s rights-based school classrooms.
